Kisspeptin

A hypothalamic neuropeptide (product of the KISS1 gene) that sits at the top of the reproductive axis, stimulating GnRH release and downstream LH/FSH. Has the best human research base of the newer 'libido' peptides, including controlled studies on reproductive hormones and sexual brain processing.

Limitations · Who should NOT use this

Although kisspeptin has stronger human research than most 'libido' peptides — including randomized studies on hormone response and sexual brain processing — that research is largely mechanistic and short-term, not approval-grade efficacy/safety for self-directed use. Self-dosing gray-market kisspeptin for libido is not the same as the controlled clinical contexts studied. Effects on the reproductive axis warrant caution; not for use in pregnancy or with hormone-sensitive conditions without medical guidance.

Regulatory notes

Not FDA-approved, but unusually well-studied in human clinical research (Imperial College London and others) for reproductive endocrinology and sexual function. Investigational; available through research-chemical channels for non-clinical use. No approved consumer product.

Verify what's actually in your Kisspeptin vial

Gray-market peptide vials vary widely on identity, purity, and labeled concentration. Finnrick is an independent testing platform that ships consumer-submitted samples to commercial labs and publishes every result in a free public database. Vendors cannot pay for placement or to suppress a result. We don't operate Finnrick — we link to it because post-purchase verification is the right complement to pre-purchase clinical evidence.

Finnrick is independent; we receive no compensation for this link. US-resident free testing as of May 2026.

I've been taking kisspeptin-10 for the last month. I think it could actually be higher, but I still need to work on improving sleep quality and lowering my fasting glucose.
