Medical Review Process

Last updated 4/22/2026

Every medical page on Peptide Platform is reviewed by a licensed clinician before publication. This page describes who they are, what they check, and how we pay them.

Who reviews

Reviewers are board-certified MDs, DOs, PharmDs, or NPs with active licenses and (for US clinicians) an NPI verified via the NPPES registry. Reviewer profiles list credentials, specialty, and the articles they have reviewed.

What they check

Factual accuracy, citation quality, dosing safety, contraindications, and tone (no over-claiming). Reviewers may request revisions, reject an article, or attach a reviewer note that appears on the published page.

How they are paid

Reviewers receive a flat fee per article plus, for founding reviewers, a small equity grant. They are paid for their time, not for a specific outcome on any article. No reviewer has ever been paid more for approving an article than for rejecting one.
